The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Fenchuganj plotted against Sylhet and Bangladesh. While Sylhet and Bangladesh both followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, Fenchuganj's new street additions followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Fenchuganj's incremental SNDi rose from 6.85 to 8.33 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Fenchuganj ranked 13th out of 24 cities in Sylhet and 135th out of 234 in Bangladesh as of 2020.

In new street additions, Fenchuganj fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Jinchang built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then shifted to more disconnected patterns and Motherwell built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. For the full network, Fenchuganj became progressively more disconnected, while Jinchang became progressively more connected and Motherwell grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved.
