The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Charkhai plotted against Sylhet and Bangladesh. The SNDi of new construction in Charkhai peaked in 1991-2005, compared to Sylhet which rose steadily and Bangladesh which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Charkhai's incremental SNDi fell from 8.42 to 8.16 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Charkhai ranked 17th out of 24 cities in Sylhet and 165th out of 234 in Bangladesh as of 2020.

In new street additions, Charkhai built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved, while 官潭村 built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns and Rimin Daddo built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. For the full network, Charkhai and Rimin Daddo both grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved, while 官潭村 became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards.
