The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Beanibazar plotted against Sylhet and Bangladesh. While Sylhet and Bangladesh both followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, Beanibazar's new street additions followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Beanibazar's incremental SNDi rose from 5.43 to 6.54 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Beanibazar ranked 10th out of 24 cities in Sylhet and 101st out of 234 in Bangladesh as of 2020.

In new street additions, Beanibazar fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Yanbu` built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns and Nilphamari built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. For the full network, Beanibazar fluctuated in connectivity, while Yanbu` became more connected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then grew more sprawly from 1991-2005 onwards and Nilphamari grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. Beanibazar and Yanbu` have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
