The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Bahubal plotted against Sylhet and Bangladesh. The SNDi of new construction in Bahubal rose steadily, compared to Sylhet which rose steadily and Bangladesh which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Bahubal's incremental SNDi rose from 7.43 to 7.44 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Bahubal and Jehanabad both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Playa del Carmen fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Bahubal and Jehanabad both became progressively more disconnected, while Playa del Carmen fluctuated in connectivity. Bahubal and Jehanabad have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
