The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Pirganj plotted against Rangpur and Bangladesh. While Rangpur and Bangladesh both followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, Pirganj's new street additions followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Pirganj's incremental SNDi rose from 4.11 to 5.17 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Pirganj ranked 14th out of 30 cities in Rangpur and 77th out of 234 in Bangladesh as of 2020.

While Hoima and Manwat both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, Pirganj fluctuated in its street-construction patterns in new street additions. Looking at the full network, Hoima and Manwat both became progressively more disconnected, while Pirganj fluctuated in connectivity.
