The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Kurigram plotted against Rangpur and Bangladesh. The SNDi of new construction in Kurigram rose steadily, compared to Rangpur which rose steadily and Bangladesh which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Kurigram's incremental SNDi rose from 11.71 to 14.58 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Kurigram ranked 25th out of 30 cities in Rangpur and 197th out of 234 in Bangladesh as of 2020.
