The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Bholarhat plotted against Rajshahi and Bangladesh. The SNDi of new construction in Bholarhat followed a zig-zag trend with an overall decrease, compared to Rajshahi which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Bangladesh which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Bholarhat's incremental SNDi fell from 11.24 to 9.68 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Bholarhat ranked 31st out of 37 cities in Rajshahi and 188th out of 234 in Bangladesh as of 2020.
