The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Bhangura plotted against Rajshahi and Bangladesh. The SNDi of new construction in Bhangura followed a zig-zag trend, compared to Rajshahi which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Bangladesh which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. In terms of the aggregate network, Bhangura ranked 21st out of 37 cities in Rajshahi and 141st out of 234 in Bangladesh as of 2020.

What about similarly populated cities?
While Fugou and Lufeng both built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved, Bhangura fluctuated in its street-construction patterns in new street additions. Looking at the full network, Fugou and Lufeng both grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved, while Bhangura became progressively more disconnected. Bhangura and Fugou have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
