The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Trishal plotted against Mymensingh and Bangladesh. While Mymensingh and Bangladesh both followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, Trishal's new street additions followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Trishal's incremental SNDi rose from 8.33 to 13.68 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Trishal ranked 20th out of 24 cities in Mymensingh and 167th out of 234 in Bangladesh as of 2020.

In new street additions, Trishal and Pati both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Jinchengjiang built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. Looking at the full network, Jinchengjiang and Pati both became progressively more disconnected, while Trishal fluctuated in connectivity. Trishal and Jinchengjiang have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
