The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Phulbaria plotted against Mymensingh and Bangladesh. The SNDi of new construction in Phulbaria rose steadily, compared to Mymensingh which rose steadily and Bangladesh which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Phulbaria's incremental SNDi rose from 4.1 to 6.8 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Phulbaria ranked 4th out of 24 cities in Mymensingh and 24th out of 234 in Bangladesh as of 2020.

In new street additions, Phulbaria and Guanajuato both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Nong'an fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Phulbaria and Guanajuato both became progressively more disconnected, while Nong'an grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. Phulbaria and Nong'an have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
