The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Nandail plotted against Mymensingh and Bangladesh. The SNDi of new construction in Nandail peaked in 1991-2005, compared to Mymensingh which rose steadily and Bangladesh which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Nandail's incremental SNDi fell from 10.91 to 9.59 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Nandail ranked 23rd out of 24 cities in Mymensingh and 193rd out of 234 in Bangladesh as of 2020.

What about similarly populated cities?
While Auchi and Xushui District both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, Nandail built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved in new street additions. Looking at the full network, Auchi and Xushui District both became progressively more disconnected, while Nandail grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. Nandail and Auchi have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
