The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Muktagacha plotted against Mymensingh and Bangladesh. The SNDi of new construction in Muktagacha peaked in 1991-2005, compared to Mymensingh which rose steadily and Bangladesh which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Muktagacha's incremental SNDi fell from 5.48 to 5.38 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Muktagacha built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved, while Gunsan-si fluctuated in its street-construction patterns and Charikar built increasingly connected streets over time. For the full network, Muktagacha and Gunsan-si both became progressively more disconnected, while Charikar became progressively more connected. Muktagacha and Gunsan-si have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
