The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Jamalpur plotted against Mymensingh and Bangladesh. The SNDi of new construction in Jamalpur rose steadily, compared to Mymensingh which rose steadily and Bangladesh which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Jamalpur's incremental SNDi rose from 6.61 to 11.14 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Jamalpur built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Hui'an built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved and Jizzakh built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. For the full network, Jamalpur and Jizzakh both became progressively more disconnected, while Hui'an grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. Jamalpur and Hui'an have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
