The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Gouripur plotted against Mymensingh and Bangladesh. While Mymensingh and Bangladesh both followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, Gouripur's new street additions followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Gouripur's incremental SNDi rose from 4.32 to 5.46 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Gouripur ranked 12th out of 24 cities in Mymensingh and 60th out of 234 in Bangladesh as of 2020.

In new street additions, Gouripur and Alagoinhas both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Stabat built increasingly disconnected streets over time. For the full network, Gouripur and Stabat both became progressively more disconnected, while Alagoinhas fluctuated in connectivity. Gouripur and Stabat have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
