The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Noapara plotted against Khulna and Bangladesh. While Khulna and Bangladesh both followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, Noapara's new street additions followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Noapara's incremental SNDi rose from 7.1 to 7.4 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Noapara ranked 16th out of 23 cities in Khulna and 145th out of 234 in Bangladesh as of 2020.

What about similarly populated cities?
In new street additions, Noapara and Zhengding both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Jizhou built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. For the full network, Noapara fluctuated in connectivity, while Jizhou grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Zhengding became progressively more disconnected.
