The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Magura plotted against Khulna and Bangladesh. The SNDi of new construction in Magura rose steadily, compared to Khulna which rose steadily and Bangladesh which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Magura's incremental SNDi rose from 9.42 to 16.5 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Magura ranked 20th out of 23 cities in Khulna and 190th out of 234 in Bangladesh as of 2020.

In new street additions, Magura built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Lalgola fluctuated in its street-construction patterns and Chalisgaon fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Magura became progressively more disconnected, while Lalgola fluctuated in connectivity and Chalisgaon became more connected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then grew more sprawly from 1991-2005 onwards. Notably, Magura had a more connected network than Lalgola in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
