The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Kaliganj plotted against Khulna and Bangladesh. The SNDi of new construction in Kaliganj rose steadily, compared to Khulna which rose steadily and Bangladesh which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Kaliganj's incremental SNDi rose from 11.74 to 14.16 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Kaliganj ranked 22nd out of 23 cities in Khulna and 205th out of 234 in Bangladesh as of 2020.

While Gomastapur and Kasserine both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, Kaliganj built increasingly disconnected streets over time in new street additions.
