The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Jhenaidah plotted against Khulna and Bangladesh. The SNDi of new construction in Jhenaidah rose steadily, compared to Khulna which rose steadily and Bangladesh which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Jhenaidah's incremental SNDi rose from 3.35 to 4.85 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Jhenaidah ranked 1st out of 23 cities in Khulna and 9th out of 234 in Bangladesh as of 2020.

In new street additions, Jhenaidah built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Ust-Kamenogorsk built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Dinghai District fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Jhenaidah and Ust-Kamenogorsk both became progressively more disconnected, while Dinghai District fluctuated in connectivity. Notably, Jhenaidah had a more connected network than Dinghai District in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
