The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Benapole plotted against Khulna and Bangladesh. While Khulna and Bangladesh both followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, Benapole's new street additions followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Benapole's incremental SNDi rose from 2.93 to 4.31 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Benapole ranked 2nd out of 23 cities in Khulna and 21st out of 234 in Bangladesh as of 2020.

In new street additions, Benapole fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Maharakul fluctuated in its street-construction patterns and São João del-Rei built increasingly disconnected streets over time. For the full network, Benapole and São João del-Rei both became progressively more disconnected, while Maharakul fluctuated in connectivity. Notably, Benapole had a more connected network than São João del-Rei in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
