The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Daulatpur plotted against Dhaka and Bangladesh. The SNDi of new construction in Daulatpur rose steadily, compared to Dhaka which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Bangladesh which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Daulatpur's incremental SNDi rose from 9.94 to 11.24 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Daulatpur ranked 34th out of 40 cities in Dhaka and 194th out of 234 in Bangladesh as of 2020.

In new street additions, Daulatpur built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Gravatá built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns and Suji fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Daulatpur became progressively more disconnected, while Gravatá became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards and Suji fluctuated in connectivity. Notably, Daulatpur had a more connected network than Gravatá in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
