The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Satmura plotted against Chittagong and Bangladesh. While Chittagong and Bangladesh both followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, Satmura's new street additions followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Satmura's incremental SNDi rose from 7.98 to 9.31 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Satmura ranked 31st out of 44 cities in Chittagong and 177th out of 234 in Bangladesh as of 2020.

In new street additions, Satmura fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Xixi built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then shifted to more disconnected patterns and Jalalabad built increasingly disconnected streets over time. For the full network, Satmura fluctuated in connectivity, while Xixi became more connected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then grew more sprawly from 1991-2005 onwards and Jalalabad became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards. Satmura and Xixi have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
