The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Kutubdia plotted against Chittagong and Bangladesh. The SNDi of new construction in Kutubdia followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, compared to Chittagong which rose steadily and Bangladesh which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Kutubdia's incremental SNDi fell from 6.58 to 6.01 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Kutubdia ranked 11th out of 44 cities in Chittagong and 92nd out of 234 in Bangladesh as of 2020.

While Cuernavaca and Milwaukee both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, Kutubdia fluctuated in its street-construction patterns in new street additions. Looking at the full network, Cuernavaca and Milwaukee both became progressively more disconnected, while Kutubdia became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards. Kutubdia and Cuernavaca have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
