The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Chandpur plotted against Chittagong and Bangladesh. The SNDi of new construction in Chandpur rose steadily, compared to Chittagong which rose steadily and Bangladesh which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Chandpur's incremental SNDi rose from 6.66 to 7.06 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Chandpur ranked 13th out of 44 cities in Chittagong and 98th out of 234 in Bangladesh as of 2020.
