The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Bijoynagar plotted against Chittagong and Bangladesh. The SNDi of new construction in Bijoynagar was at its lowest in 1976-1990, compared to Chittagong which rose steadily and Bangladesh which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Bijoynagar's incremental SNDi rose from 5.3 to 9.02 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Bijoynagar ranked 2nd out of 44 cities in Chittagong and 5th out of 234 in Bangladesh as of 2020.

While Ginsi and Dongkou both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, Bijoynagar built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns in new street additions. Looking at the full network, Ginsi and Dongkou both fluctuated in connectivity, while Bijoynagar became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards. Notably, Bijoynagar had a more sprawly network than Dongkou in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
