The SNDi of new construction in Patuakhali rose steadily, compared to Barisal which rose steadily and Bangladesh which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Patuakhali's incremental SNDi rose from 7.04 to 8.71 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Patuakhali and Araraquara both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Tuban fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full street network, though, all three cities follow the same trend.
