The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Charfasson plotted against Barisal and Bangladesh. The SNDi of new construction in Charfasson was at its lowest in 1976-1990, compared to Barisal which rose steadily and Bangladesh which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Charfasson's incremental SNDi rose from 5.3 to 6.39 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Charfasson ranked 5th out of 15 cities in Barisal and 75th out of 234 in Bangladesh as of 2020.

What about similarly populated cities?
In new street additions, Charfasson built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns, while Risod built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then shifted to more disconnected patterns and Shouyang built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. For the full network, Charfasson became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards, while Risod fluctuated in connectivity and Shouyang grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. Charfasson and Risod have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
