The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Barguna plotted against Barisal and Bangladesh. The SNDi of new construction in Barguna rose steadily, compared to Barisal which rose steadily and Bangladesh which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Barguna's incremental SNDi rose from 3.8 to 4.33 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. For the full network, Barguna became progressively more disconnected, while 길주읍 fluctuated in connectivity and Bolu grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. Barguna and Bolu have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
