The SNDi of new construction in Shamakhi peaked in 1976-1990, compared to Daglig-Shirvan which peaked in 1976-1990 and Azerbaijan which peaked in 1991-2005. Most recently, Shamakhi's incremental SNDi fell from 3.52 to 2.76 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Shamakhi built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved, while Xicotepec de Juárez built increasingly disconnected streets over time and Gwandu fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Shamakhi grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved, while Xicotepec de Juárez became progressively more disconnected and Gwandu fluctuated in connectivity. Notably, Shamakhi had a more sprawly network than Xicotepec de Juárez in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
