The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Gyumri plotted against Shirak and Armenia. The SNDi of new construction in Gyumri followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, compared to Shirak which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Armenia which rose steadily. Most recently, Gyumri's incremental SNDi rose from 2.36 to 5.02 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Gyumri ranked 1st out of 1 cities in Shirak and 1st out of 2 in Armenia as of 2020.

In new street additions, Gyumri and Ruse both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Langley City built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. For the full network, Gyumri fluctuated in connectivity, while Langley City grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Ruse became progressively more disconnected.
