What about similarly populated cities?
Paraná, Doumen, and Khouribga all fluctuated in its street-construction patterns in new street construction. The same pattern holds for the full street network. Notably, Paraná had a more connected network than Khouribga in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
