The SNDi of new construction in Trelew rose steadily, compared to Chubut which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Argentina which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Trelew's incremental SNDi rose from 1.32 to 1.6 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Trelew and Welenchete both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Jinxi fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Trelew and Welenchete both became progressively more disconnected, while Jinxi fluctuated in connectivity. Notably, Trelew had a more sprawly network than Jinxi in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
