The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Junín plotted against Buenos Aires and Argentina. While Buenos Aires and Argentina both followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, Junín's new street additions followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Junín's incremental SNDi rose from 1.33 to 1.43 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Junín ranked 3rd out of 18 cities in Buenos Aires and 5th out of 77 in Argentina as of 2020.

Junín, La Dorada, and Savelugu all fluctuated in its street-construction patterns in new street construction. The same pattern holds for the full street network. Junín and Savelugu have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
