The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Moçâmedes plotted against Namibe and Angola. The SNDi of new construction in Moçâmedes followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, compared to Namibe which rose steadily and Angola which rose steadily. In new street additions, Moçâmedes fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Gimhae built increasingly disconnected streets over time and Pollachi fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. Looking at the full network, Gimhae and Pollachi both became progressively more disconnected, while Moçâmedes became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards. Moçâmedes and Gimhae have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
