The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Dundo plotted against Lunda Norte and Angola. The SNDi of new construction in Dundo followed a zig-zag trend with an overall decrease, compared to Lunda Norte which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall decrease and Angola which rose steadily. Most recently, Dundo's incremental SNDi fell from 3.47 to 3.38 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Dundo ranked 4th out of 4 cities in Lunda Norte and 46th out of 56 in Angola as of 2020.

In new street additions, Dundo fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Kahemba built increasingly disconnected streets over time and Kahalgaon fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. Looking at the full network, Kahemba and Kahalgaon both became progressively more disconnected, while Dundo became progressively more connected. Dundo and Kahalgaon have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
