The SNDi of new construction in Xangongo was at its lowest in 1976-1990, compared to Cunene which peaked in 1991-2005 and Angola which rose steadily. Most recently, Xangongo's incremental SNDi rose from 1.25 to 1.4 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Xangongo built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns, while Zhongxing Road fluctuated in its street-construction patterns and Tangla fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Xangongo became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards, while Zhongxing Road fluctuated in connectivity and Tangla became progressively more connected. Xangongo and Zhongxing Road have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
