The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Chingo plotted against Cuanza Sul and Angola. The SNDi of new construction in Chingo peaked in 1976-1990, compared to Cuanza Sul which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Angola which rose steadily. Most recently, Chingo's incremental SNDi fell from 2.52 to 2.24 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Chingo ranked 2nd out of 8 cities in Cuanza Sul and 23rd out of 56 in Angola as of 2020.

In new street additions, Chingo built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved, while Sido Dadi built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Bolo fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Chingo and Sido Dadi both grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved, while Bolo became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards. Chingo and Sido Dadi have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
