In new street additions, Mecheria fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Itaperuna built increasingly disconnected streets over time and Tarinkot built increasingly connected streets over time. For the full network, Mecheria and Itaperuna both became progressively more disconnected, while Tarinkot became progressively more connected. Mecheria and Tarinkot have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
