The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Qarabagh plotted against Kabul and Afghanistan. The SNDi of new construction in Qarabagh rose steadily, compared to Kabul which rose steadily and Afghanistan which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Qarabagh's incremental SNDi rose from 4.25 to 4.69 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Qarabagh ranked 3rd out of 5 cities in Kabul and 36th out of 73 in Afghanistan as of 2020.

In new street additions, Qarabagh and Le Port both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Yangshan built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. For the full network, Qarabagh and Le Port both became progressively more disconnected, while Yangshan grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. Qarabagh and Yangshan have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
