The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Istalef plotted against Kabul and Afghanistan. The SNDi of new construction in Istalef peaked in 1976-1990, compared to Kabul which rose steadily and Afghanistan which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Istalef's incremental SNDi fell from 4.55 to 3.64 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. Looking at the full network, 诚心村 and Ghammas both became progressively more disconnected, while Istalef grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. Istalef and 诚心村 have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
