The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Nahrin plotted against Baghlan and Afghanistan. While Baghlan and Afghanistan both followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, Nahrin's new street additions followed a zig-zag trend with an overall decrease. Most recently, Nahrin's incremental SNDi rose from 3.36 to 4.56 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Nahrin ranked 2nd out of 3 cities in Baghlan and 46th out of 73 in Afghanistan as of 2020.

In new street additions, Nahrin fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Paranavaí built increasingly disconnected streets over time and Bergen op Zoom built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. Looking at the full network, Paranavaí and Bergen op Zoom both became progressively more disconnected, while Nahrin grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved.
